	  	| The terror came so swiftly I could scarcely believe my eyes
Over one of our greatest cities
It rained fire from the skies
 Two massive hulking giants
 Known fondly for their name
 Gave way to unknown terrorists
And we will never be the same
 So many now have perished
For the evil of a sect
 That finds joy in disaster
And the lives in which they wreck
We watched upon our TV screens
 While others lived this out
We heard the screams of anguish
And wondered what it was all about
 We saw the buildings smoking
And we watched them as they fell
We saw a beautiful American city
 Become a burning living hell
 We heard the massive numbers
Of the lives in which we lost
 And the President demanding
 Retribution at any cost
And sitting here so far away
Even though I've hurt and cried
I can't imagine the pain of thousands
That watched as their loved ones died
And I've prayed with others nightly
I've seen the candles burning bright
And I've prayed that our great Savior
 Would Bless America tonight
That in such a tragic horror
Good will come as no surprise
 When we recognize his Angels
 All around us in disguise
I saw them in the Firefighters
 Mighty Angels...One and all
 That wandered into mass destruction
For they knew this was their call
In the Police and in the Medics
And all the others on the ground
That aided all the walking wounded
With death and carnage all around
I've seen them in total strangers
That stopped to lend a hand
And in the growing pride around us
That has swelled across the land
They continue on like mighty ships
As they go around the clock each day
Trying to find the missing people
As they cart tons of stuff away
 These Rescuers keep going on
 With faith....These workers cope
 Digging, Hoping, Praying all
They are carried on by Hope
And even in our smallest children
 Yes....The purest of your seed
They will always teach us something
When it comes a time of need
I have seen them gather pennies
Beyond years, they seem so wise
They are what makes America beautiful
 All these Angels in Disguise
 So I pray...Oh Heavenly Father
That you'll keep blessing this great land
And that in this darkest hour
You'll stretch forth your loving hand
We were founded for our freedom
To call out to you in prayer
And even though we've slipped away
In our hearts we know you're there
With your guidance of our Leaders
All the praise we give to you
I say this in the love of Jesus
And the Red, the White and Blue
With Love, we send our messages
In our hearts you hear our cries
God bless the ones thats left us
 And your Angels in Disguise

	  	| True Hero's!
I want everyone to see their faces and know their names and remember these beautiful and so very important people, who were known and loved and thought of every day. I want to comfort their families by letting them know that we haven't forgotten them and that we appreciate them both individually for who they were, as well as collectively, for what they have done for us as citizens of the most wonderful country in the entire world. They've made us see it, they've made us acknowledge it, they've brought us together as brothers and sisters with a common interest. As a nation, we have a greater faith now in our government, but more importantly, a greater faith in God. And while we may not see a time when the loss of their lives is justly avenged, we may remember them in prayer, and give thanks to them for being here

These people were our brothers and sisters, though we may have never laid eyes on them or heard their names mentioned. They were a part of our lives though we never acknowledged them before. As actors in a play, we took for granted all those people working diligently to provide us with the props and costumes necessary to play our part. These are people who worked together with so many countless others to insure that we have "the way of life" that we have today. From the business men and women, stock traders and secretaries, lawyers and educators, housewives and children, who provide the backbone of our nation as it is, to the military personnel, firefighters, policemen and policewomen, and all other members of the emergency services communities, who provide us, not only with their care and support through times like these, but who ensure for us the very freedom that we often took for granted until September 11, 2001.

  What happens when the rescuer,
 Suddenly becomes mistaken.
As one of the fallen victims.
 Their own life quickly taken.
 Could be the Police Officer,
Pulling on that second chance vest.
 Strapping on a familar gunbelt,
For a shift that leads to a final rest.
 Perhaps a fearless Firefighter,
Sounds of a multiple station alarm.
Bunker gear lying upon hip boots,
In hopes of removing those from harm.
 Maybe it's the Paramedic,
 Driving through our city streets.
 Working under extreme conditions,
From gangs who fight on their beats.
 Perhaps Military personnel,
Regardless of the branch they serve.
All saluting the same American flag,
 Vowing to protect and preserve.

 | Angels Among us...! This plaque is in dedication of just one of the many who died..I am honored that his name was assigned to my website,,God Bless the Heros!
How do you tell a little girl,
Not yet all wise and grown.
The one she kissed this morning,
 Won't be coming back home.
Or a small tossed haired boy,
 Throwing balls in the backyard.
His life is fixing to forever change,
A moment in time now scarred.
I know that in my heart,
 Many a memory will remain.
 Each have families and friends,
Behind the badge or medals...A name.
All that any of us can do,
Is know they are in God's hands.
None ever sought fame or glory,
 Nor asked for anything grand.
 A normal every day profession,
Something they simply chose to do.
But I will call these persons Heroes,
They gave their life for me and you.

These terrorists knew nothing about the American spirit. They greatly underestimated our Strength, Resolve, and Bravery. We've met with disaster, but we've come together in the midst of adversity and found strength through one another. We refuse to be beaten, bullied, or weakened by terrorists. And we are far from helpless. We will stand together through this crisis, and we will heal. We will raise our flag and let it fly high and victorious beneath the stars. And we will emerge stronger than ever before, united through our Pride, our Compassion, and our Faith in God.
